Hey, Blogger! Eli Here.
Okay, Trevor and I are really into this YouTube account called Vsauce. Vsauce is led by a guy named Michael who explores all kinds of different topics about life. These topics range from "What if everyone jumped at once?" to "Is the five second rule true?", and Michael can get pretty scientific at times. One of my favorites is titled "Is your red the same as my red?"and let me tell you, it is trippy.
Think about it. Lets say you and I are looking at a banana. We both say, "This banana is yellow" and go our separate ways. That is what we were taught as children. In a classroom, a teacher could hold up a card with the color blue on it, but there could be twenty different variations of "blue" seen through different children's eyes. Everyone assumes that they are looking at the same color as everyone else. But what if we are looking at totally and completely different colors, but have no idea! What if my yellow is the same color as his purple, and vice versa? This could also be applied to taste and possibly even hearing.

Welcome Back! I love Gossip Girl.
Wow, it sure feels great to be blogging again! Anyway, I was watching Gossip Girl earlier today, and I am at the episode in Season 2 where Blair wants Chuck to sabotage Vanessa's plans to restore an old Brooklyn speakeasy, so Chuck eases in and acts like a friend, while actually planning to destroy it. Chuck Bass, the son of billionaire Bart Bass, has plenty of money and power, not to mention nice clothes, the ability to seduce any woman he wants, and a devilish grin. However, there is a dark side to the great Chuck Bass. His mother was killed in a plane crash when he was a child, and his father is constantly jetting off to faraway countries for business. Chuck never really seems happy, even with all this power, and that is why I think that power does not give a person happiness. Dan Humphrey, a middle class Brooklyn boy, is way happier, even if if he just stays at home most nights playing board games with his family. I also think that Macbeth has power by being a thane, but is constantly worried being under a microscope. These witches are on is back all day and he has to worry about the fact that he is going to kill a king!
Also, women are not necessarily more violent than men. Most the time, men are the ones who throw punches, but women do a lot more hurt with their words. On this episode of Gossip Girl I was watching, Blair was not acting too kindly. Fashion Week was approaching, and Blair's mother was a designer. That meant that she was in charge of the seating charts at her mom's show. Normally, her best friend Serena watched the show from backstage, but Blair's mother personally asked her to sit in the front row. Serena accepted, and this really ticked Blair off. Blair changed the seating chart at the last minute, putting Serena at the back row. At the same show, Blair had another beef with Jenny, a young, aspiring designer working the show. Blair sent all the models home and made it look like Jenny's fault. Once replacements were found, Blair gave one of the models a dress that Jenny made, so it would look like Jenny was trying to take all the credit. My point is that I disagree with notion that men are more violent than women, just because we are stronger and have potential for more physical damage. In Macbeth, I know that Lady Macbeth is pretty ruthless as well, as well as those witches.
